As the nation’s troubled economy continues to affect the federal budget, the P&A/CAP network is expected to do more with less.
During this lean time, training is more important than ever.
That is why I am thrilled the Training and Advocacy Support Center at the National Disability Rights Network is partnering with Disability Rights Texas to bring you the 2013 P&A/CAP Annual Conference. This partnership enables us to develop an even richer program with more workshops and institutes on more topics that will help you face the challenges ahead.
The dozens of workshops, plenaries, institutes, and roundtables offered at the conference will help you hone your skills, develop more efficient advocacy strategies, and maximize your limited resources to provide services to people with disabilities.
The annual conference is always one of my favorite times of year. I hope to see all of you in San Antonio this June.
